The interior is finished in a light brown to give a warm effect when lighted. A lighted cord with an in-line switch is included.

It has a flat roof in the rear and the front porch roof is hand made of wood and crafted to highly resemble corrugated rusted tin. A wood step is included at porch floor. The windows have wire pane dividers and a rusted primitive star is attached near the top. A lighted cord with an in-line switch and bulb is included. The inside is finished in a light brown to give a warm effect when lighted.

. This handcrafted lighted saltbox 2-hole Outhouse has an aged mustard finish and measures 10h x 6w x 4.50 deep. All 4 sides have been scuffed to add an aged appearance. The sides and front have been gooved to resemble plank construction. A rusted tin star is attached above the door. The true saltbox roof is finished in a scuffed flat slate black. The interior is finished in a distressed white and is complete with a floor, a 2-hole seat and a hand-crafted simulated Sears Catalog. The door has painted brass-coated hinges, cut-out moon, handmade wood knob and handmade wood button latch. This is a durable product designed and handcrafted by myself. It will be an ideal addition to your primitive or outhouse collections and will also make a perfect nightlight. You can allow minimal light thru the window and cut-out moon or open the door for maximum light. Those who are of baby boomer age or earlier understand that outhouses and Sears Roebuck catalogs were directly related. When a new catalog came out, the old one was placed in the outhouse. The pages of the old catalogs were more porous than now-a-days and therefore were used as toilet paper as well as for reading. A lighted clip-in cord with an in-line switch is included.
